Competitive – DOPING FREE
Competitive is a ready-to-use pre-competition paste, designed to be administered before long-duration competitions such as endurance events. The paste helps maintain the horse’s energy levels by providing readily available energy needed during competition. Its formulation includes branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), L-carnitine, L-lysine and vitamin E.
The paste is recommended for those who wish to supply their horses with additional vitamin E and extra energy to be used during long competitions, such as endurance riding.
Properties
Branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine and isoleucine) provide medium- to long-term energy, which is particularly beneficial during prolonged competitions.
L-carnitine plays a key role in energy production by transporting fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane, thereby accelerating their conversion into energy. Carnitine is also known as a “glycogen loader”.
Thanks to its antioxidant action, vitamin E is useful in helping to reduce muscle cramps.
Directions for use:
Administer one full syringe orally 3 hours before the start of the competition.
