Prequalm is an ideal paste for those who wish to maintain their horses’ physiological calmness during competitions. It helps support focus and concentration during performance. Prequalm is especially suitable for young horses, which are often particularly nervous and anxious in competition environments.
Prequalm contains L-tryptophan, an essential amino acid that is converted in the body into serotonin, also known as the “feel-good hormone.” L-tryptophan is also a precursor of melatonin, the substance that regulates sleep–wake cycles and promotes calmness.
Directions for use:
- Administer one full syringe 3 hours before competition.
- If the horse is sensitive to transport or trailers, administer one full syringe 2 hours before loading.
- For ponies, administer one full syringe per dose.
