Elyte C+E is an ideal mineral complementary feed supplying horses with electrolyte salts, vitamin C and vitamin E.
Horse sweat is hypertonic, meaning its salt concentration is much higher than that of blood. As a result, heavy sweating leads to a significant loss of sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium and calcium, which must be rapidly replenished to prevent fatigue and muscle cramps.
The product is useful for:
- Supplying horses with electrolyte salts during the summer season
- Compensating for salt losses caused by intense sweating during periods of heavy physical effort
Directions for use:
Mix 60 g of Elyte C+E per day thoroughly into the feed ration to restore salts lost through sweating.
During prolonged exertion or competitive activities, especially in hot weather, it is recommended to increase the daily dose to up to 100 g per day.
